Environmental Assessment Process
This Project will follow the approved environmental planning process for Group ‘B’ projects under the MTO Class Environmental Assessment for Provincial Transportation Facilities (amended 2000). As part of the Class EA process, interested parties are notified of the proposed works and have an opportunity to provide comments or request additional information. A Design and Construction Report (DCR) has now been prepared to outline the environmental impacts and mitigation measures associated with the Detail Design. The DCR is available for a 30-day public comment period from April 1, 2026, to April 30, 2026, on this project website and at the Lancaster Branch of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry County Library (195 Military Road Lancaster, Ontario).
